This is a one-off collaboration made up of a team of architects, landscape architects, ecologists and engineers called The Eastern Reach.
The Eastern Reach was selected for the London As It Could Be Now workshops run by the Architecture Foundation. The team included George Wade, Ed Wall, Helena Rivera, Alex Malaescu, Kate Priestman and Chris McCarthy. We explored the eastern edge of London along the tidal Thames, an area between where Greater London ends and where the London Transport system begins. The project titled Lubricity was presented to a public audience at the beginning of September and was on show at the Royal Academy of Arts as part of the Richard Rogers exhibition.
