We were commissioned to design a working studio for an artist that doubles up as a bedroom for family guests. The family is spread between New York City, Bogotá, London and Auckland so A Small Studio prepared a navigable route using waterways to visit all cities. The route was laser cut on acrylic reflective panels and embedded as the centrepiece of the workspace. The rest of the room is a functional space that doubles up as a light-filled artist studio and guest room.
