As project managers, we are proud to present ChooSE27, a platform for local people and businesses, that connects those who have space with those who need space in SE27.

ChooSE27 is the result of the Greater London Authority (GLA) funded scheme ‘Making High Streets Work’ that in 2020 challenged local communities to find solutions to promote a vibrant local economy. Through consultation, it was discovered West Norwood and Tulse Hill have a wide variety of untapped commercial spaces that could be profiting more, while providing opportunities to valuable businesses and individuals struggling to find appropriate premises from which to work locally. Our mission is that SE27 will become ‘The destination for adaptable, affordable workspaces’ enabling talented home-grown organisations to stay, grow and prosper.

Being more efficient in space usage as we enter a time of energy and financial crisis, makes tremendous business sense. Sharing and utilising our local resources well will generate a sustainable, circular economy for our community through a 15-minute city business model, where everyone benefits. Landlords interested in what they can do with an empty or underused space will find a network of support and inspiration through ChooSE27; with intelligence and acumen of active Workspace Providers, Commercial Estate Agents, along with current policy information from Lambeth Council, and local knowledge from StationToStation BID. Together we can create a transformative work-local-lifestyle, great for people, great for planet, and great for a successful economy. All we have to do is ChooSE27.

We are now inviting Landlords and businesses not currently maximising the entirety of their commercial premises, to join the ChooSE27 Collective, a growing network of local pioneers choosing to work together pro-actively to diversify and add local value to underused spaces throughout the High Streets and Industrial sites of West Norwood and Tulse Hill. We have no shortage of creative, productive and ambitious independent businesses in our area, proving that SE27 is the most up-and-coming place to choose to work-near-home, launch a new business or expand. Our location has so much to offer, with excellent transport links, amenities, diverse character, and a uniquely collaborative local spirit.
